01 — Agreement to Terms

Your agreement with us

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "user", "Data Principal") and Sanas Digital Solutions ("we", "us", "our", "Company"), the developer and operator of the MagicWallet application and all associated services (collectively, the "Service").

📋 Please read these Terms carefully before using MagicWallet. By downloading, installing, registering, or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all versions of the Service including the Android mobile application, the progressive web app (PWA) accessible at www.magikwallet.com, and any future platforms on which MagicWallet becomes available.

These Terms are published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, which require publishing rules and regulations, privacy policy, and terms of service for access or usage of a computer resource.

02 — Eligibility

Who can use MagicWallet

To use the Service, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Users between 13 and 17 years of age may only use the Service with the express, verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf and takes responsibility for all activity. Users under 13 are not permitted to use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed.

03 — Account Registration

Creating and managing your account

MagicWallet may be used in a local-only mode without an account. Creating an account is required only if you wish to sync data across devices or access cloud backup.

When creating an account, you agree to:

🔑 You are responsible for all activity under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. If you lose access to your account, use the password reset flow at magikwallet.com.

We reserve the right to refuse registration, reclaim usernames, or require you to change your display name if we determine it violates these Terms or applicable law.

04 — Licence to Use

What we grant you

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Sanas Digital Solutions grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, personal licence to:

This licence does not include the right to:

All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Sanas Digital Solutions. This licence terminates automatically if you breach these Terms.

05 — Acceptable Use

How you may not use the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The following are strictly prohibited:

⚖️ Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement authorities under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Penal Code / Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, or other applicable laws. We cooperate fully with lawful investigations.

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation and take appropriate action, including removing content, suspending accounts, or reporting to authorities, without prior notice.

06 — Plans, Pricing & Billing

Subscriptions, payments & refunds

MagicWallet is available on the following plans:

Free Forever

Free

₹0 / month — no card required

  • Up to 3 months of transaction history
  • Income, expense & debt tracking
  • 1 financial goal
  • Basic reports & CSV export
  • Bill calendar & monthly budgets
  • Android app + web access

Billing & payment. Pro plan subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing. By subscribing, you authorise Google Play to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable plan price. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, it will be clearly communicated at the point of subscription. At the end of the trial period, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play → Subscriptions.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice via email and in-app notification. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

💳 Refund policy. Subscription payments are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's refund policy. We do not issue refunds directly. For disputes not resolved through Google Play, contact us at hello@magikwallet.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review in good faith.

Downgrade. If you downgrade from Pro to Free, your Pro features remain active until the end of your current paid period. After that, data exceeding Free plan limits (e.g. transaction history beyond 3 months) will be retained but not accessible until you upgrade again — it will not be deleted.

Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, levies, or duties imposed by your jurisdiction on your subscription beyond those included in the displayed price.

07 — Your Data & Content

Ownership and responsibility for your data

You own your data. All financial records, transaction entries, notes, and other content you input into MagicWallet ("User Content") remain your property. We claim no ownership over User Content.

By using the cloud sync feature, you grant Sanas Digital Solutions a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service to you. This licence ends when you delete your account or your data.

📦 Data portability is a right, not a favour. You can export everything — income, expenses, debts, investments, goals — anytime from Settings → Export Data. No subscription required for basic CSV export.

For full details on how we collect, store, protect, and process your personal data, please read our Privacy Policy.

08 — Intellectual Property

What belongs to us

The Service, including its source code, design, user interface, graphics, algorithms, databases, business logic, trademarks, logos, trade names, and all other content not constituting User Content (collectively, "Company IP"), is and remains the exclusive property of Sanas Digital Solutions and its licensors.

Company IP is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws of India and applicable international treaties including the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.

If you believe any content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, please notify us at legal@magikwallet.com with sufficient detail to identify the alleged infringement. We will investigate and respond promptly.

09 — Third-Party Services

Links and integrations

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services including Google Play Billing, Supabase, Firebase, and (in future phases) Open Banking providers, AI inference services, and live market data feeds.

Third-Party Service Purpose Their Terms
Google Play App distribution, in-app billing, crash analytics Google Play Terms
Supabase Cloud database & authentication (opt-in sync) Supabase Terms
Firebase Crashlytics Crash reporting & performance monitoring Firebase Terms
Open Banking (Phase 4) Account aggregation via Finvu / Setu AA (opt-in) Terms disclosed at point of opt-in

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of third-party services. Linking to or integrating a third-party service does not imply our endorsement of it.

MagicWallet does not connect to your bank account directly. It does not access banking credentials, OTPs, UPI PINs, or any banking authentication. Open Banking integration (Phase 4) will operate exclusively through RBI-licensed Account Aggregators with your explicit, revocable, purpose-limited consent.

10 — Disclaimers

What we do not guarantee

⚠️ Not financial advice. Nothing in MagicWallet — including reports, insights, projections, the MagicWallet Achieve Score, AI summaries, or any other output — constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. MagicWallet is an organisational tool, not a regulated financial adviser. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Service provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11 — Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, in no event shall Sanas Digital Solutions, its directors, employees, agents, partners, or licensors be liable for:

Aggregate liability cap. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian Rupees), whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12 — Indemnification

Your responsibility to us

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sanas Digital Solutions and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of the defence of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defence of such claim at your expense.

13 — Suspension & Termination

Ending your use of the Service

By you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and initiates the data deletion process described in our Privacy Policy (Section 07). Cancelling your subscription separately via Google Play does not delete your account.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service, with or without notice, if:

Service discontinuation. We intend to operate MagicWallet long-term and will always give at least 90 days' notice before any planned shutdown of the Service. During this notice period, you will be able to export all your data. Pro subscribers will receive a pro-rata refund for any unused paid period.

Effect of termination. Upon termination, the licence granted to you under Section 04 immediately ceases. Sections 07 (Your Data), 08 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnity), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.

14 — Governing Law & Disputes

How we resolve disagreements

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms.

Informal resolution first. Before initiating any formal dispute process, you agree to contact us at hello@magikwallet.com with a written description of your dispute and the relief you are seeking. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.

Consumer disputes. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from approaching the appropriate consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, or any other statutory consumer redressal body in India.

Jurisdiction. Subject to the consumer protection rights above, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally. If you are located outside India, local mandatory consumer protection laws may provide additional rights that these Terms cannot override.

🤝 We prefer to resolve disputes directly. In our experience, most issues are resolved quickly through direct communication. Please reach out to us before taking any formal action — we genuinely want to make things right.
15 — Changes to These Terms

How we update these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes — changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations — we will:

For non-material changes, we will update this page without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

We maintain an archive of prior versions of these Terms, available on request at hello@magikwallet.com.
