Most people invest when they have spare money — without a destination in mind. Magik Wallet flips this around. Every investment you log is connected to a real financial goal, with a calculated SIP plan to get you there on time. The result? A portfolio that doesn't just grow — it arrives.
Start With Your Goals,
Not the Market
Most investment apps start by asking you to pick assets. Magik Wallet starts by asking you a better question: what are you actually saving for?
Inside the Goals tab, you create a target — a home down payment, your child's education, a dream vacation, retirement, or anything else that matters to you. Each goal carries a name, a target amount, and a deadline. That's your contract with your future self.
The app then tracks progress with a live progress ring on each goal card — green when you're on track, red when your deadline has passed. The ring reflects not just manual savings you log, but also the current market value of every investment you link to that goal.
The Built-In SIP Planner
That Does the Math
Creating a goal automatically unlocks Magik Wallet's SIP Planner — a two-mode calculator that tells you exactly how to get there.
Mode A — Fix Your Tenure, Find Your SIP
Already know when you want to hit your goal? Set the number of years and your expected annual return, and the app calculates the exact monthly SIP you need to invest — using the standard compound-interest SIP formula, accounting for how much you've already saved.
Mode B — Fix Your SIP, Find Your Timeline
Can only commit ₹8,000 a month? Enter that amount, set your expected return, and the planner calculates how many months it will take to reach your goal — and the projected maturity value when you get there.
Either way, a small growth curve is drawn on screen to visualise your wealth journey — showing the compounding effect building momentum over time. It also checks your current month's income vs. expenses and warns you if the recommended SIP would strain your monthly budget.
"The SIP planner doesn't just suggest a number — it shows you whether you can actually afford it this month, based on your real income and spending data."
Log Any Investment Across
14 Asset Classes
Magik Wallet's investment tracker isn't limited to mutual funds or stocks. It covers 14 asset classes — the full landscape of how Indians actually build wealth:
Smart Entry for Market-Linked Assets
For stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and crypto, Magik Wallet connects to live market data. Type a company name or symbol and the app auto-fills the current market price, fetches the sector classification, and marks it with a "LIVE" badge. Mutual fund NAVs are pulled from the MF API in real time.
Automatic Valuation for Fixed-Income Assets
FDs, RDs, PPF, EPF, Bonds, and NPS work differently — they don't have a market price, they have an interest rate. Enter the principal, annual rate, and date, and Magik Wallet computes the current value automatically using compound interest, so your portfolio value is always up to date — no manual updates needed.
Bonds get additional fields: maturity date and coupon frequency (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual) — everything you need for accurate fixed-income tracking.
Link Every Investment
to a Goal
This is where Magik Wallet becomes genuinely different from a generic portfolio tracker. When you add an investment — any investment, any asset class — you can link it to a specific goal with a single tap. That investment's current market value is then counted toward your goal's progress in real time.
See Everything by Goal
The Investments screen has a "By Goal" view that groups all your holdings under the goal they're linked to. Each goal card shows the total invested, current portfolio value, overall P&L%, and a progress bar toward the target. Investments not linked to any goal are grouped separately under "Unlinked."
Portfolio Analytics That Keep
You Diversified
Linking investments to goals doesn't mean sacrificing visibility of your overall portfolio health. The Investments screen gives you a full picture at the top:
Asset Allocation Donut
A donut chart shows how your portfolio is split across asset classes — with the top 5 classes displayed with their values and weight percentages. This makes it immediately visible if you're over-concentrated in any one area.
Intelligent Diversification Alerts
The allocation insights strip monitors your portfolio and surfaces warnings or tips in real time:
For subscribers with AI Insights enabled, these tips are enhanced by AI analysis — taking your specific portfolio mix, timeline, and goal context into account for personalised recommendations.
A Single Dashboard for
All Your Goals
The Goals hero card gives you a bird's-eye view at a glance: total saved across all goals, the overall target, and what remains. Below that, a donut chart breaks down how your contributions are distributed — showing which goals have the most traction and which need attention.
At-Risk Goal Detection
The app flags goals that are in trouble before it's too late. If a goal is less than 25% funded with fewer than 12 months remaining, an alert appears suggesting you increase your SIP or extend the deadline. The goal ring turns red when a deadline has passed, making it impossible to miss.
Investments in Context of
Your Full Finances
Magik Wallet tracks more than investments in isolation. Your investment activity appears on the home screen's monthly widget alongside your inflow, outflow, and net balance — showing how much you actually deployed into investments this month versus what you earned and spent.
The home dashboard's Inflow / Outflow breakdown distinguishes investment outflows from regular expenses, giving you a clear picture of your savings rate — the percentage of your income going toward wealth building. The AI-powered finance strip surfaces insights like "your savings rate this month is 28% — strong financial health" or warns you when the rate dips.
Because investments are integrated with the period system, you can switch to Annual view and instantly see your full-year investment activity — how much you invested, across which asset classes, and how it all maps to your goals.
The Complete
Goal-Investing Loop
Put it all together and Magik Wallet creates a closed loop that most finance apps leave open:
